2. General Information on Data Processing
The apps by Pondstack Software (DJReport, TrackHound, BPM Scout, SlippyClean, CrowdDrop, Spin Deck Studio, RekordTidy) are designed to work locally on your device. No user data is stored server-side by the provider. Data processing takes place exclusively on the user's device.
3. Data Processing in the App
The software processes exports provided by the user from DJ applications such as Rekordbox and Serato, which may contain artist names, track titles, remix information, playtimes, and event details. This data is processed and stored exclusively on the user's device.
3a. Microphone Access (BPM Scout, TrackHound)
BPM Scout accesses the device microphone solely for the purpose of real-time tempo detection. Audio data is analyzed in real time and is not stored, forwarded, or made accessible to third parties. The app does not collect any personal data and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
TrackHound uses the microphone or a connected audio interface to identify music tracks using Apple's ShazamKit framework. Audio patterns are transmitted to the ShazamKit service for identification. No complete audio data is transmitted or stored. The processed audio patterns are subject to Apple's privacy policy.
4. App Store & Payment Processing
Transactions are processed exclusively through Apple's platform. The provider does not receive payment data such as credit card numbers, bank details, or Apple ID credentials.
5. Website Data
When you visit our website, technical data is automatically collected (IP address, browser type, timestamp). This data is required for the technical operation and security of the website.
5a. Our own analytics (no cookies)
To improve our offering, we count visits with self-hosted analytics (Umami, open source) on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU. No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device.
Data collected: page visited, referring page and campaign tag from the link (e.g. utm_source), time, browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, country/region derived from the IP address, and clicks on links to the App Store, downloads, purchases or email links. The IP address itself is not stored. To count unique visitors, an anonymous identifier is generated that changes daily; visitors are not recognised across days and the data is not combined with other data. The data is not shared with third parties and is deleted after 14 months at the latest.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Objection: at any time via the cookie settings (switch off “Analytics”) or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser – then we collect nothing.
6. Meta Pixel (only with your consent)
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Meta”) on this website. It lets us measure whether visitors come to our website after seeing our ads on Facebook or Instagram and helps us deliver ads more effectively (ad measurement and advertising audiences).
Data processed: pages visited and time, IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers (e.g. _fbp) and – if you are logged in to Meta – the association with your Meta account by Meta.
Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Without consent, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and no connection to Meta is made. We are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and transmitting the data to Meta (Art. 26 GDPR); the agreement is available at facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Meta is solely responsible for any further processing.
Transfers to third countries: Meta may transfer data to the USA. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses also apply.
Retention: the _fbp cookie is stored for up to 90 days. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for 12 months.
Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: open cookie settings (also in the footer of every page). More information: Meta Privacy Policy.
We do not use any further tracking or analytics tools. Embedded YouTube videos are only loaded after you click (youtube-nocookie.com).
7. Data Storage
Users control the storage of their own app data. Email correspondence is deleted after the matter has been resolved.
8. Your Rights

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
10. Security
The user is responsible for the security of their device and for creating backups.
11. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. Last updated: October 2026.
